Finally it’s here.

The match we have all been waiting for…

…or maybe not?

Tiger vs Phil

Will you watch?

Tiger Woods will take on Phil Mickelson at Shadow Creek in a unique, expensive and somewhat odd showdown, which will see one of them walk away with $9million.

In celebration of America’s much celebrated Thanksgiving holiday, the head to head exhibition match has definitely ruffled some feathers, much due to the hefty prize fund coupled with a pay-per-view costs.

How to watch Tiger vs Phil?

The answer to this is quite simple; if you live in the US, you can purchase it on pay-per-view and if you don’t, there aren’t any legal ways of watching the showdown.

Tiger vs Phil at Shadow Creek

The match will take place at Shadow Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada, an apt location. Once a place for the super rich to escape from the outside world, the course was eventually made public in 2000, when it was taken over by MGM Mirage Resort.

You’re treated like royalty from the minute you arrive, with a stretched limo taking you through the front gates. When creating this majestic course, no expense was spared with the 7 star service accompanying the pristine fairway of one of the most spectacular courses in the world.

Given a vast expanse of land in the middle of the desert and fairly sizeable budget, golf course architect Tom Fazio had the blank canvas needed onto which he could create this masterpiece. While the whole ambience of the place may not be for the purists, I don’t think even James Braid or Harry Colt would deny the sheer beauty of Shadow Creek, with the fairways lined by towering trees and skirting the magnificent man made water

Tiger v Phil Betting Tips

Between them they have 19 Major Championships, 123 PGA Tour wins, $156m worth of prize money and have both been a part of winning Ryder Cup teams.

While Tiger won the Tour Championship in 2018, Phil added to his World Golf Championship collection in Mexico, however both failed to score any points at Le Golf National in September.

The betting market is pretty simple, offering outright winner odds and more specific markets taking bets on if they’ll both eagle a hole, hit it in the water or birdie the opening hole.

Tiger is the favourite, and rightly so, he has had the better season and on his game beats anybody, but this is a highly unique situation, so who knows what will happen.
